Every time there is something to look at, regardless of whether there are new pictures by an artist, the beautiful women in the photos, or the great lamps that hang from the ceiling. And the amazement continues when you eat, because there is always a large selection of great dishes that you would like to eat completely through the menu. Until now never had anything that didn't taste good! The staff and the boss are all very nice and attentive people. I like to be there and always like to come back!

When I saw the GalerieWerkstatt homepage for the first time, I was a bit worried that it might be a typical "in-thing" for the secret high society of the surrounding area. I was skeptical. Today I was there for the second time and I can say: I was totally wrong (thank God), because everything is real here! The furnishings are not artificially pimped up and styled, rather a style prevails here that is actually not at all. There are no props set up here that should somehow create a cool atmosphere, but here you really eat in a workshop - and that's the cool thing. It is as if you were immersed in another world, somewhere between a French "brocante" and a museum for woodworking. Here, connected lines of multiple plugs hang from the ceiling and yes, there are also a few cobwebs hanging here - a workshop . But the most important thing is: it doesn't matter, because honestly, who doesn't have them at home? Highlight among many: the disco faucet on the toilet.But of course I would also like to say something about eating, because that's probably why most of them will come here. In short: the food is wonderful. There is an extensive menu that at first you might think that it could be very ambitious for the store, but nobody in the kitchen tends to overestimate it, the food is simply delicious, creative, very broad (also for me as a Both times a vegetarian was delicious ..) and prepared with love. We all went home full and happy. Even our daughter, who sometimes has to be persuaded to eat, courteously served the meatball. Regarding the service: it is refreshing to the heart: the owners and the waitresses are not artificially set to "service mode", they are authentic from head to toe and give you the feeling that you - cordially invited - have taken a seat in their eat-in kitchen. We are completely satisfied and will definitely be back - after the lockdown ...

GalerieWerkstatt: the name says it all. The restaurant is stocked with a lot of pictures and utensils from a carpenter's shop. The dishes and furniture are very inconsistent but somehow coherent. We, a small group of 6 even rather inconsistent people, spontaneously felt at home. Cozy yet stimulating atmosphere. Pleasantly relaxed and accommodating operator and waitress without being overly servile. Manageable daily menu, which is always better, as it is what makes freshly prepared meals in a not-so-large restaurant possible in the first place. The dishes are more down-to-earth with Mediterranean elements and quite smart accents, and we all enjoyed it. We spent about 35 euros per person on a longer evening of around 3 hours with shared starters, main course, drinks in the form of simple but more than palatable wine, water, espresso and tip, which I consider completely appropriate in view of what is on offer. In addition, a parking lot in the immediate vicinity was not a problem and, if necessary, a stop on line 1 is close by due to possible alcohol consumption. I will visit this restaurant again for sure.

Very tasty food, freshly prepared with love. We feel very comfortable here, the atmosphere is very unusual. Ending the day on the terrace with a view of the park is a dream. The service is on the ball, the Kölsch (malt mill) tapped well. You can't die of thirst here. Thanks to the dedicated team around Corinna, Achim and Justus

White wine lukewarm and not chilled. Ice comes only after repeated requests. Operation is overwhelmed and very moody.
